1909-D 25C MS65 NGC. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. Despite a mintage exceeding 5 million pieces, the 1909-D quarter is conditionally scarce at the Gem level, and rare beyond that grade. The patina on this Gem includes hues of golden-brown, sage, and gray-plum. The strike is pleasing overall, with a few areas of softness noted.
