1914-D 25C MS67 NGC. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. This is an uncommon coin in several ways. While the 1914-D is considered a common date among the later Barber issues, it barely exists in Superb Gem condition. This is a magnificently lustrous example, that displays even gray-golden toning over each side. The strike is strong overall and, of course, no abrasions can be seen. Census: 1 in 67, 0 finer (10/13). Ex: "Colonel" E.H.R. Green; Green Estate; Partnership of Eric P. Newman / B.G. Johnson d.b.a. St. Louis Stamp & Coin Co.; Eric P. Newman @ $5.00; Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
