1914 25C PR67 NGC. CAC. The 1914 quarter is best-known for the remarkably low mintage of only 380 proofs struck. The mirrors on this piece flash brightly through the rich, dappled rose and blue toning seen over each side. Slight cameo contrast can be seen as well through the toning, although the frost over the devices is not quite distinct enough to warrant a Cameo designation. Census: 17 in 67 (2 in 67 S), 10 finer (10/13). Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
