1926 25C MS67 Full Head NGC. CAC. The 1926 was the second year of a Mint modification to the Standing Liberty quarter design that should have been done from the start: the date below Liberty's feet, instead of being placed on a raised pedestal and exposed to wear, was put in a recess. This Full Head Superb Gem has full rolling luster beneath light inner patina, faint touches of gold and pink that are richer on the reverse, and dotted blue-violet rim toning. Liberty's head is full, though a touch of softness is noted on the lower left part of her shield. A magnificently preserved example that would be a credit to any collection. Census: 4 in 67 Full Head, 0 finer (10/13). Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
