1889-CC $1 AU58 NGC. CAC. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. The obverse of this coin displays greenish-gold, olive, silver, and gray areas with just a trace of rub on the high points of Liberty's hair, brow, and cheek, the surfaces showing complete originality with abundant eye appeal. The reverse offers a similar color scheme, save for dabs of deeper copper-russet patina near the right border. As expected as this grade level, there are minimal signs of contact on either side. Spirited competition is expected as the legions of Morgan dollar collectors vie for this prize example from the collection of Eric P. Newman. Ex: "Colonel" E.H.R.
