1828 50C Square Base 2, Small 8, Large Letters AU58 NGC. CAC. O-118, R.3. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. Deeply patinated cobalt-blue and walnut-brown. The stars and legend feature lovely iridescence. It is a challenge to find signs of friction or wear, even on the high points. The few signs of contact with other coins are consistent with the grade.
