1875-CC 50C AU58 NGC. CAC. Medium CC. WB-101, Die Pair WB-4, R.4. This is a top-graded AU CC half dollar. NGC has graded only 13 pieces at this level. The medium-size CC mintmark was introduced in this year and all 1875-CCs are from this die punch. A reverse die crack through the arrowheads and two small lumps along Liberty's hemline identify this die pairing. This coin has wonderful blue, gray, and gold toning throughout, abrasion-free fields, and very few marks on the figure of Liberty.
