1880 50C AU58 NGC. CAC. WB-102. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. This borderline Uncirculated 1880 half dollar claims a small business-strike mintage of only 8,400 pieces. This piece shows just a trace of wear on the design elements, with lightly abraded slate-gray surfaces that show highlights of cobalt-blue and golden-brown toning.
