1880 50C MS64 NGC. CAC. WB-102. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. Only 8,400 business-strike Seated Liberty half dollars were struck in 1880, and the issue is seldom encountered in high grade. Thick mint frost graces each side. Both obverse and reverse display medium gray-blue patina, and areas of original mint brilliance appear on the reverse. Sharply defined. Ex: "Colonel" E.H.R.
