1902 50C PR65 NGC. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. The Mint employed an all-brilliant finish on proof coins in 1902, resulting in reduced cameo contrast between the devices and the deeply mirrored fields. The well-preserved surfaces of this delightful Gem are patinated in shades of pink and champagne-gold and the design elements are sharply detailed throughout. Census: 33 in 65 (1 in 65+), 44 finer (9/13). Ex: "Colonel" E.H.R. Green; Green Estate; Partnership of Eric P. Newman / B.G. Johnson d.b.a. St. Louis Stamp & Coin Co.; Eric P. Newman @ $7.00; Eric P.
