1910 $5 MS64 NGC. CAC. The 1910 Philadelphia Indian half eagle frequently comes sharply struck, with rich, satiny luster, factors that contribute to its popularity among type and date collectors alike. This representative is near the upper end of its assigned grade, as the obverse is nearly flawless, and the reverse shows just a few faint luster grazes in the field that limit the grade. Pale greenish overtones complement satiny yellow-gold luster. NGC has encapsulated only 36 numerically finer representatives (8/14). Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
