Description | 1859 1C AU58 NGC. CAC. A chestnut-gold cent with hints of tan and olive. Light wear on the feather tips and shoulder curl accounts for the designated grade. However, luster illuminates the legends and outlines the wreath. No marks are remotely noticeable. A popular single-year type. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society. Realized $258.50.
