1787 COPPER New Jersey Copper, No Sprig above Plow XF45 NGC. M. 64-t, W-5380, R.1. 131.2 grains. There is no obvious evidence of obverse failure on this early die state piece, and no visible cracks on either side. This slightly granular olive-brown and golden-tan example has traces of maroon patina on the reverse. Slight weakness is evident at the central reverse on this well-centered impression.
