1788 1C Massachusetts Cent, Period VF25 NGC. R. 8-C, W-6260, R.3. A plentiful variety that is available in all circulated grades, although Mint State pieces are rare. Alternating bands of golden-brown, olive, and steel appear on each side of this smooth example. Both obverse and reverse exhibit trivial, grade-consistent handling marks. Ex: "Colonel" E.H.R.
