1652 SHILNG Pine Tree Shilling, Small Planchet -- Clipped - Fine Uncertified. Noe-26, W-900, Salmon 9-E, R.5. 58.0 grains. The two Hain Family examples of Noe-26 respectively weighed 67.3 and 74.6 grains. The sharpness is Fine overall, with much of the reverse grading Very Fine. The tree shows greater wear, but all branches are nonetheless clear. The walnut-brown surfaces are problem-free aside from post-issue clipping, which affects the tops of the upper obverse letters.
