1723 PENNY Rosa Americana Penny AU50 NGC. Martin 2.31-F.1, W-1282, R.4. The very rare W-1282 variety of the 1723 Rosa Americana penny is recognized by the presence of a period after REX , and also after 1723. This coin features lightly worn design elements on a slightly rough planchet, with just a few areas of granularity.
