1787 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Draped Bust Left, AUCTOPI Fine 12 NGC. M. 42-kk.2, W-4245, High R.5. 132.7 grains. The number "42" appears over a horizontal bar in the left obverse field, here appearing as garnet, and likely the remnants of an India ink attribution by an early owner, possibly W.W. Hays.
