1788 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Mailed Bust Left, CONNLC Fine 12 NGC. M. 13-A.1, W-4535, R.5. 91.1 grains. Struck on a small, defective planchet with a tab at the upper obverse and upper reverse, perhaps suggesting some a double strike. The tops of AUCTORI fall off the edge of the flan, and the date and LIB are also partly off the planchet. Microscopic granularity appears on the olive and steel-brown surfaces. Ex: Eric P.
