1739 Admiral Vernon Medal, Porto Bello, AU55 NGC. Betts-238, Adams PBvi 11-P, R.6. A beautifully preserved Choice AU example, this medal retains largely brassy-gold color along with areas of luster. Scattered spots pose minimal distraction, if any. The designs exhibit sharp details, with only high point wear. The piece is struck slightly off-center, with minor roughness at portions of the rims.
