1739 Admiral Vernon Medal, Porto Bello, -- Environmental Damage -- NGC Details. XF. Betts-Unlisted, Adams PBvi 20-GG, R.6. The outer right portions of both sides of this piece reveal areas of corrosion, with smaller amounts scattered elsewhere as well. Fortunately, the corrosion primarily affects the legends, leaving the majority of the designs uninterrupted. A large degree of detail remains, adding to the appeal.
