1741 Admiral Vernon Medal, Cartagena, -- Scratches -- NGC Details. VF. Betts-324, Adams CAvo 4-F, R.5. Although there are a number of scratches, primarily on the obverse, they are older and toning lessens the amount of distraction they pose. The medium golden-brown surfaces of this piece reveal even wear on the higher portions of the designs. The central obverse illustrates standing figures of Vernon and Ogle, with the text in the exergue reading, WE LOOK FOR DON BLASS. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.
