Colony of Connecticut October 11, 1777 3 Pence CT-215. PCGS About New 53PPQ. This is a bold and very sharp-looking white paper note. Uncancelled, and scarcer than the blue paper variant. Serial number 10679, this has been the Newman plate note from the original edition through the current fifth edition of The Early Paper Money of America, and is pictured in that reference on page 113. The broad margins, sharp printing, and status as a Newman plate note make this an excellent representative from the interesting series. Ex: Eric P.
