State of Georgia October 16, 1786 2 Shillings 6 Pence Fr. GA-128. PCGS Very Fine 35 Apparent. This is a very distinctive, later State-issued note printed by John E. Smith in Augusta from an intricate Abernathie-engraved plate. At the upper left is a vignette of the 1777 Georgia Constitution and the motto PRO BONO PUBLICO (For the public good).
