Maryland March 1, 1770 $1 Fr. MD-55. PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent. A scarcer, early note with the "A. C. and W. Green" imprint on the back. At the top center of the face is a vignette counter representing a Spanish Milled Dollar coin; its purpose was to prevent note raising. Noted with some "Edge Splits and Tears" generally confined to the full margins. Boldly printed on both sides and with excellent nature print details. Ex: Eric P.
