New Jersey January 26, 1756 12 Shillings Fr. NJ-87. PCGS Good 4 Apparent. This is another extreme rarity and the only note from the issue in the Newman Collection. It is only the second note from the series we have cataloged. That example was a 6 pounds note, graded PCGS Fair 2 Apparent, that sold for $431.25 in January 2012. Noted with "Splits, Tears, and Damage; Repairs." This has a nearly full appearance, much more than the mentioned note previously cataloged and sold or the Newman Plate Note illustrated on page 252 of the fifth edition. Ex: Eric P.
