New York March 5, 1776 $1/6 Fr. NY-186. PCGS Choice About New 55. A low denomination from this series and an interesting fractional. Printed by Samuel Loudon with his imprint on the back. High-grade notes from the issue, particularly these low denominations, are deceptively scarce. We recently sold a PCGS Very Fine 30 example in our September 2016 Long Beach sale for $352.50.
