North Carolina April 2, 1776 $1/4 Sea Urchin Fr. NC-155f PCGS Fine 15 Apparent. Another rare low denomination type and one of eight $1/4 types from the issue. The sea urchin is certainly an interesting and unusual animal kingdom vignette. The note is bright and handsome from the face. Grading mentions "Edge Splits and Tears; Hinge Repair on Back."
