Virginia October 20, 1777 $1/6 Fr. VA-122. PCGS Choice About New 55 Apparent. This is the lowest denomination from the series. It is a fractional note printed uniface on thick paper and hand-dated, just as the May 5, 1777, notes. Virginia trampling Tyranny is at the upper left. Signed by Wood. "Minor Stains" and Mounting Remnants on Back" are noted by PCGS, but the deep printing is extraordinary for the series. Ex: Eric P.
