Virginia October 5, 1778 $2/3 Fr. VA-155. PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent. This series of notes is printed on thin laid paper using the Virginia trampling Tyranny vignette (same style as the previous series) and motto SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS. This thin, brittle paper was subject to cracking and chips, making high-grade notes difficult to find. Noted with "Splits, Tears, and Repairs," but with a solid appearance from the face. Ex: Eric P.
