State of Massachusetts Bay - (Act of December 6, 1776) Bounty Note Ten Pounds Feb. 22, 1777 Anderson-Smythe MA-6. PCGS Very Fine 35 Apparent. A second MA-6 "Ten Pounds" denomination Bounty Note. Printed on laid paper. 17.0 cm by 20.5 cm. The diagnostics are as previous. No. 17281. Issued and signed by Cooper, Appleton, and Gardner (pen cancelled). Payable December 6, 1780. Endorsed by Henry Gardner on the back as reissued in 1777. The serial number position is centered and in the assigned number range by Anderson (3,000-20,000).
