A third MA-8 "Sword in Hand" bond. Printed from a Nathaniel Hurd plate on laid paper. 21.0 cm. by 22.8 cm. Style, vignettes and text as last, with an embossed stamp. No. 798. Issued and signed by Jeffries, Davis, Sumner and Henry Gardner (pen cancelled). No interest endorsement appears on the face; endorsed on the back and signed by Wm. Pynchon. This is near the end of the known serial number range (501-800) for this issue. Noted are "Small Splits," noticed internally. Fully sized, bright, and well printed. Ex: Eric P.
