State of the Massachusetts Bay - (Act of October 13, 1777) 6% Treasury Loan Certificate due March 1, 1781 30 Pounds Dec. 1, 1777 Anderson-Smythe MA-10. PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent. A second MA-10 "Sword in Hand" bond, and a very attractive example. Printed from a Nathaniel Hurd plate on laid paper. 19.5 cm by 22.0 cm. The layout is as previous, and an embossed stamp is on the text portion. NJ225 Issued and signed by Scollay, Price, Boyer and Henry Gardner (pen cancelled). No endorsements are on either side.
