Continental Loan-Officer for the State of "New Hampshire" Certificate for Conversion of "Two" certificates, being for interest on "One." $7-43/90 February 15, 1788 Anderson-Smythe NH-UNL. PCGS Choice About New 58. This unusual form could be classified as a receipt or perhaps a conversion certificate of "liquidated debt." Received from Nathaniel Gilman, witnessed by Prentice. Printed on laid paper, with the visible crowned Britannia in circle watermark. 17.5 cm by 18.5 cm. The typeset form is within ornate vine bordering. As noted on the certificate, this was one of two that were emitted for this obligation. The interest was payable only to December 31, 1786. Complex and properly classified with United States loans, and related to New Hampshire redemptions. Fully issued, but with no back endorsements. Unusual and choice. Ex: Eric P.
