Selma, AL - Charles Lewis & Co., Bankers $2 July 12, 1862 Rosene 298-5. PCGS Very Fine 20. An available private banker issue, but bright from the face. A tall vignette of a Native American warrior is at the left end, and an agricultural vignette is below the arced title. The signature of Charles Lewis is to the right of the steamboat vignette at the base, and the imprint of M.J. Williams, Selma, is to the left. Superior to most we have seen. Ex: Eric P.
