Tuskaloosa, AL - Mayor and Alderman of the City of Tuskaloosa 12-1/2 Cents "May, 1818" Rosene 322-2. Remainder. PCGS Extremely Fine 40 Apparent. This is an 1837 period remainder note, in the style of Manly & Orr printers, which was falsely filled in. An early train zips along at top center between counters. End panels show a Native American with tomahawk at left, and a milkmaid with jug at right. Rare, and the first we have cataloged. Noted as "Falsely Filled In." Ex: Eric P.
