Johnsville, AR - John Brady 25 Cents Apr. 4, 1862 Rothert 340-2. PCGS Fine 12 Apparent. This is an exceedingly rare issuer and is printed with a "New Orleans" scrip style, but without imprint. A train vignette in an elaborate cartouche is at top center between "25" counters. JOHN BRADY, is across. Elaborate ends show the denomination. Grading mentions "Edge and Internal Splits, Tears, and Damage." The Rothert plate note was sold for $805 in our 2010 FUN auction.
