Little Rock, AR - Arkansas Treasury Warrant $1.40 July 25, 1862 Cr. 26. PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent. This earlier "On War Bond" issue shows a vignette of a woman wearing a hat at the left end in a decorative cartouche. The denomination is printed, and there is a dog and safe motif at the base. PCGS notes a "Small Edge Tear at Left" and "Minor Stains." Much scarcer (Rarity-7 in Shull-Criswell; 101-400 known) than later notes and superior to most observed. Ex: Eric P.
