Little Rock, AR - Lot of 4 Arkansas Treasury Warrant $10 Denomination Types. The $10 notes are similar to the $5 denominations, but the Rector portrait has been replaced by Samuel Adams, and the scrollwork frame around the portrait has been replaced by books. $10 Jan. 13, 1864 Cr. 54C. PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent. Printed on white paper with plain back. The Butler imprint is missing, the interest information is crossed out, and ON AUDITOR'S WARRANT does not appear. "Minor Stains" are noted by PCGS. $10 Mar. 6, 1862 Cr. 56. PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent. The phrase ON AUDITOR'S WARRANT surrounds the central vignette, the interest at eight percent information is not crossed out, and the Butler imprint is present. The back shows the green overprint. Grading notes "Missing UL Corner Tip; Tape on Back." $10 May 30, 1864 Cr. 56B. PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent. Printed on blue paper. Similar to the above, but without the imprint or engraved interest information. The overprint on the back is in red. "Small Edge Tears" are noted by PCGS. $10 Mar. 28, 1862 Cr. 58. PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent. Printed on the back of bills of exchange with this example showing the DeSoto portrait dead center. The imprint, ON AUDITOR'S WARRANT, and interest information appear on this variety. It has a green back over the host exchange. Noted are "Stains."
