Stonington, CT - Stonington Bank $10 18__ CT-415 G48b. Remainder. PCGS About New 53PPQ. This is an earlier series by Rawdon, Wright & Hatch with red protectors. The upper left whaling vignette is based on James Stewart's Dying Struggles of the Spermaceti Whale. A very large and ornate "X" is in the center. There is moderate handling, but the note is well margined, and the red script protectors are bright and elegant. Ex: Eric P.
