Jacksonville, FL - Florida Atlantic & Gulf Central Railroad Co. $2 May 30, 1859 Benice 37. PCGS Fine 12 Apparent. A very scarce series and fully issued note. A train vignette, as befits the issuer, appears between the arced title and the denomination. Native Americans are at the left; a plantation scene with brimming baskets is at the right, above the imprint of the American Bank Note Company. PCGS notes: "Rust Stains; Stains; Hinge on Back."
