St. Joseph, FL - Corporation of Saint Joseph 6-1/4 Cents Mar. 1, 1840 Benice 11. PCGS Fine 12 Apparent. This is only the second note from the issuer we have cataloged, and we consider its Rarity-7 rating accurate. No imprint, but with the Philadelphia Manly & Orr style. A steamboat is at top center. The note is accomplished, but it appears falsely done. Noted with "Tears and Repairs." We sold a 12-1/2 cents remainder graded for Extremely Fine 45 for $5,875 in January 2013. Ex: Eric P.
