Tallahassee, FL -Lot of 2 State of Florida 1861 $1 Notes. $1 Sept. 16, 1861 Cr. 9, Benice 3C. PCGS Fine 15 Apparent. The curved title provides a dynamic element. Washington is in an oval frame at lower left and seated Tellus is at the right end holding an orb on which a bird perches. This variant is signed by Perry. Grading notes "Minor Rust Stains" and "Minor Ink Erosion." $1 Oct. 10, 1861 Cr. 9A, Benice 4A. PCGS Very Fine 20. Similar, with Tellus and Washington, but without ONE at the upper right.
