Atlanta, GA - Alabama Insurance Co. of Montgomery $1 Apr. 1, 1862 Rosene 228-7. PCGS Fine 12. This series is collected across two states. The unusual perpendicular vignette at the left end shows a man, who appears to be timing a horse race, standing on the judge's platform; a ONE is above. End panels, counters, and the denomination are in red, and the title and texts are in black. A blue "AIC" oval company stamp is under the arced title. Scarce and underrated in this condition.
