Description Augusta, GA - Lot of 2 City Bank Red Protector Notes. Earlier series notes with dual imprint of Bald, Cousland & Co., Philadelphia and Baldwin, Adams & Co., New York and red protectors. Both are handsome types. $5 Oct. 3, 1854 GA-50 G6a. PCGS Fine 15 Apparent. A stately building, attributed as Richmond County Courthouse by Roger Durand, appears at top center above the title. Lathe work dies are at the ends, and a red FIVE protector is across bottom center. A "Small Internal Slit at Right" is noted by PCGS. $10 Jan. 1, 1855 GA-50 G8a. PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent. At the left, a farmwoman blows her horn to signal mealtime for the farmers in the field. Red "10" protectors are at the center. "Rust Stains at Right" are noted by grading. Ex: Eric P.
