Brunswick, GA - Lot of Brunswick & Albany Railroad Company March 4, 1871 Notes. A colorful pair of Reconstruction era railroad "Good for" currency engraved and printed by the Continental Bank Note Co. New York. $1 March 4, 1871. PCGS Choice About New 55. As befitting the title, a train engine is at the center between the title and denomination, and an allegorical female holding a basket of fruit is in a round frame at top left. The script ONE protectors are in green and white, and an imposing Kimball House Hotel building is on the green back of this denomination. $2 March 4, 1871. PCGS Very Fine 25. On the face, the Kimball House Hotel appearing on the back of the $1 denomination replaces the engine, and the vignette at top left shows a slave hauling a heavy bale.
