Macon, GA - Lot of 3 Commercial Bank at Macon Issued Notes. All engraved by Draper, Underwood, Bald & Spencer and fully issued. The last two are sharp examples. $3 Oct. 15, 1845 GA-190 G6. PCGS Very Fine 35 Apparent. A drover vignette is at top center flanked by "3" dies on this type. An oval framed cameo head is at the base. Grading Notes the "Missing Bottom Right Corner Tip." $5 Oct. 15, 1845 GA-190 G10. PCGS Very Fine 20. With attributes of Commerce, Plenty, and Agriculture, and allegorical female sits at top center. Modestly draped Mercury sits on a bale at the shore between "5" dies at the ends. $10 Nov. 1, 1845 GA-190 G12. PCGS Very Fine 30. This denomination shows Hope seated on an anchor and supporting a "10" shield. Ends show an eagle at the shore between denomination blocks. Ex: Eric P.
