Description Macon, GA - Lot of 2 Bank of Macon $1 Types with Different Vignette Structures. Both are engraved and printed by Fairman, Draper, Underwood & Company, but have different layouts. $1 July 4, 1831 GA-195 G2. PCGS Fine 15. Washington's portrait is placed in the middle of a perpendicular script ONE at the left end. A framed portrait of Franklin (as noted by Tony Terranova, adapted from the David Martin 1766 painting of Benjamin Franklin) above an allegorical female with a "1" counter at the right. The imprint is at the lower left. $1 November 1, 1831 GA-195 G4. PCGS Very Fine 30. Ceres sits at the shore at top center on this note. In both end panels, a denomination block is at the top, and Justice stands beneath with a portrait of Washington. A bold example. Ex: Eric P.
