Chicago, IL - Merchants & Planters Bank $100 Dec. 20, 1858 Spurious Issue IL-175 S6a. PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent. A spurious issue without imprint and in an unusual style. An early passenger train is at the top, an eagle is at left, and a wharf scene is at right. There is a red security back, but it is lightly printed. Grading notes "Small edge Tears." Ex: Eric P.
