Edwardsville, IL - Lot of 2 Bank of Edwardsville Lower Denomination Notes. Both were engraved by Tanner, Kearny & Tiebout, and are scarce denominations from the series. $1 Jany. 27, 1819 IL-220 G14. PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent. Farm implements are at top center. End panels are intricate. Heavy mottling is seen at the right end, and grading notes "Stains; Small Edge Tear at Bottom Right. $2 1810s IL-220 G18. Remainder. PCGS Very Fine 35 Apparent. A seated allegorical female with a tobacco plant and barrels is at the top. Ends are ornate. Noted as "Falsely Filled in," as the 1845 date and wrong signatures indicate. Ex: Eric P.
