Edwardsville, IL - Bank of Edwardsville $20 [Written] Post Note Apr. 18, 1821 IL-220 G40. PCGS Fine 12 Apparent A rare type from the bank and a late date; the bank failed that year. Like all others in the series, engraved by Tanner, Kearny & Tiebout. An angel floats over the clouds with a POST NOTE banner. Intricate ends, with POST at left and ILLINOIS at right.
